PIFMER at SJU: Education Services

PIFMER at SJU is qualified to provide major services and activities to the PDA in these major categories:

Consulting Services , including: food marketing consultation, board participation, trade mission participation; subject matter experts; and, liaisons for networking with food-related companies and organizations.

Education , including: audit of selected undergraduate and graduate classes; involvement of PDA executives and administrators with students, faculty, staff, and industry in seminars, symposia, classroom room experiences; study tours; and customized, non-credit, continuing education.  

Research , including: available relevant food industry-related research conducted by SJU faculty and administration; and, access to facility and research resources at SJU.

Demonstration Projects , including: student, faculty, and staff involvement through student-led and other service-learning organizations.  

Web-based Distance Learning and Table-top exercises , including: an array of web-based courses and table top exercises already available through the Early Responders Distance Learning Center (ERDLC), a leading provider of web-based academic coursework and a nationally recognized forerunner in the field of distance learning engineering and technology.   Visit the ERDLC website, which can be conveniently accessed on the PIFMER home page.
